Important milestones from our history
Cimos celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022. We are proud of our achievements and what comes next matters even more than how far we have come.
Each and every year in our 50-year long history made it possible to make at least 50 steps forward and gives us at least 50 reasons for confidence in our ability to overcome the challenges ahead and succeed also in the years to come.
2018-2020
Synergies between Cimos and Cogeme established and Plants optimization successfully completed.
2017
Cimos acquired by Palladio Holding – TCH Group. TCH consists of two brands: Cimos and Cogeme.
2015 - 2017
Reorganization of the Group, focusing only on automotive business and improving group’s performance.
2001 - 2010
Intense investments in production equipment and exceptional growth (organic and with acquisitions).

Entering air compression business.
1984 - 1989
Establishment of research and development activities of Cimos and breakthrough of Cimos on international market as an automotive supplier.
1972
In the 1972 Tomos, Iskra and Citroen formed a new company, Cimos (Citroen, Iskra, Tomos), for the manufacturing and export of components for cars, car assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
1959 - 1972
Koper-based manufacturer of scooters and outboard motors, Tomos signed co-operation contract with Citroen, establishing operations that would eventually grow into the present Cimos.
Citroen designed and supplied specifications to Cimos, who would then manufacture components and assemble an entire automobile.
